Last weekend the Picketts invited us up to Pilot Hill , by Sacramento, to spend the weekend. The ranch was huge and really beautiful. We went to museums about the goldrush and ate tons. But I decided I wanted to go swimming in the FREEZING cold Lake, little did I know I would be taking dad with me fully clothed and un- prepared! It was quite an adventure!!!!

Sounds like fun!! I've gotta get myslef over to that ranch! I heard about you and your dad tipping over that canoe, oh I wish I could've been there! Miss you guys!
i have heard so much about that ranch. lucky you to go and enjoy such a fun weekend. dad in the water with his clothes?!?! how did that happen, and dad doesn't look too ticked off in the picture...explain that!
