Fathers Day!

For Fathers' Day this year I decided to make my Dad a DVD to document bits and pieces of his life! Well, while looking through old pictures what I found  was both hilarious and awesome! Here are some of my favorite old pictures of my one- of- a- kind Dad who I love very VERY much!

I Won An Award!!

So even though this happened before Girls Camp and Graduation I thought I should Mention it sometime. At Egan they give out a series of awards to chosen 8th grade students. Although there are many awards, the chances of me winning one was looking quite slim. To my surprise, I ended up winning an the Citizenship Award. The speech that came with my cute plaque explained my never ending energy and optimism, plus my friendliness to everyone! It is cool to know that the entire faculty had voted on this award and I was the winner. It goes to show everyone notices when you try your best to be kind to everyone! I was so happy to win an award tat I had a long photo shoot with those at the awards ceremony.

Girls Camp

This year was my 3rd year at our Stake's Girls Camp! Rucker Lake was the location this year and I loved it except for the fact that there were bugs *especially mosquitoes* EVERYWHERE! Since I was a 3rd year, I got to go on a 2 day hike... SO EXCITING :/!ha ha! Well it actually turned out to be pretty fun. We hiked up to the highest mountain around and got to climb up on an old lookout spot! The views were amazing... and there was even snow! For the night we spent out on the trail, we slept by Milk lake (a freezing one I might add) which supplied us with amazing views but also with the most bugs I have ever seen in my life. All in All camp was great, and although I was excited to go home (get a good shower, and go on my own toilet) I am definitely going next year!

Graduation!

I just graduated from 8th grade and can't believe I am going to be in high school! My Graduation was outside on a hot, sunny, perfect day! Mom, Dad, and Candice were able to come see my diploma! Not only was my family there but all my friends were there as well and it was so cool to share the moment with them! I can't believe summer is here... and I am SO EXCITED!

The Ranch

Last weekend the Picketts invited us up to Pilot Hill , by Sacramento, to spend the weekend. The ranch was huge and really beautiful. We went to museums about the goldrush and ate tons. But I decided I wanted to go swimming in the FREEZING cold Lake, little did I know I would be taking dad with me fully clothed and un- prepared! It was quite an adventure!!!!

Soccer

This year soccer was so fun I had a great time playing goalie and defense! I also enjoyed making so many new friends and improving my soccer skills!:):)

My Birthday!

For my 14th birthday (December 8th) I had a Birthday Party With all my friends. Thanks to my mom, dad, cousin shelley , and candice I was able to have a Scavenger Hunt! We went all around downtown trying to find the items on the list, they ranged from a picture with the effiel tour to getting a kiss on the cheek from a stranger! Well needless to say it was a blast and I can't wait for next year.....:)

Kids Come for a Visit!

Ok I know I'm so slow! but for Thanksgiving Camille's 5 beautiful kids came for a visit. We went to the zoo, watched many movies, and played tons of 2 square. I loved having them around and I wish I could see them more!
